Is Women's Portal India open to Women Entrepreneur sellers from all over India?
Yes, we provide equal opportunities and platform to woman entrepreneur seller from different parts of our country to sell their products and services. Women Entrepreneur in India can register on the Women’s Portal India portal from their state of residence.
What documents are needed for registration?
You need to provide following documents for registration.
1] Woman Entrepreneur Government registration letter or Shop Act license or Bank Account with business name.
2] AADHAR, PAN, UDYAM certificate of authenticity.
3] GST number if available.
4] Description of your products & services Product photos & detail information.
What is the platform fee at Women's Portal India?
1. A small annual platform fee is applicable for each seller. This is a minimum fee to cover digital infrastructure, compliance, and support.
2. For a Woman Entrepreneur, annual fee is Rs.365/- including GST.
3. This is just Rs. 1/- per day.
4. For a business run by Specially Enabled Woman Entrepreneur, no fee will be charged. (Disability certificate required & contact us on email)
How should I upload the products & services?
Once you complete your registration process, your dashboard will be created where you can upload your products & services. Just fill your products & services details and with uploading a product image.
How many products & services I can upload?
A registered woman entrepreneur seller can upload as many products & service they want provided that it should be their own activity.
How do I know when my products & services are sold? What do I do next?
Once your product is sold on Women’s Portal, you will receive a message on your dashboard & a confirmation email. You will then need to pack the product properly and courier it to customer address mentioned in the order. Regularly check your seller page on Women’s Portal.
What precautions I should take as a Woman Entrepreneur seller?
1. Please be honest and smart and always be a future-oriented professional.
2. Be careful how you can use this portal to grow your business.
3. Keep the quality of your product high.
4. Your product prices should be low and competitive.
5. Keep the quality of your product high.
6. Pay attention to good packaging and timely delivery.
How to courier my products?
You can arrange your own courier services. Pack the products usingwater proof material & courier on customer’s address. Ensure you use good quality packaging material as any damaged product will not be accepted by customer. It may be returned to you.
What about Shipping & Courier charges?
Woman Entrepreneur seller can arrange own shipping & courier services & charges.
We suggest Indian Postal Services for your shipping needs.
Or you can avail services provided by Women’s Portal India.
What commission is charged byWomen's Portal India on products & services?
We charge no commission on your products & services as per our zero commission policy. You can decide price of your products & services along with or without shipping charges.
But you will consider Government TCS Tax 1% & Digital Payment Handling charges upto 2%.
What tax I need to pay to Government through Women's Portal?
You need to pay 1% TCS on each successful order for selling your products on digital e-commerce platform as regulated by GST law.
Is there any fee on payment transaction?
Third party Digital Payment Handling charges are upto 2% on each transaction. Woman Entrepreneur seller has to pay these charges per successful order. You will consider this factor while deciding product prices.
How much payment I will receive after all deductions?
Total deduction per successful order will be 1% TCS & 2% Digital Payment Handling charges.
For Example:
If your product is sold at Rs. 100
1] Government tax TCS 1% on Rs. 100= 1 Rs.
2] Digital Payment Handling charges 2% on Rs. 100=2 Rs.
3] Total deduction on order amount Rs.100=1+2= 3 Rs.
4] You will receive payment Rs.100-3=97 Rs.
Any other hidden charges?
There are no any hidden charges. Women’s Portal India assures you for maintaining transparency in Platform fee, Taxes & Digital charges.
When do I receive my payment?
The Woman Entrepreneur seller receive the transfer through the bank after the buyer receives and confirms the product and the amount is deposited on the Women’s Portal.
In rare cases, the product may be returned or canceled during the order process. Or if the product is wrong, defective or damaged, it can be returned. If the item is returned, you have to pay the courier fee for the return.
Therefore, up to 10 days, the amount of products and services sold by Woman Entrepreneur seller is retained.
Seller can claim order amount to their bank accounts from dashboard after 10 days of order completion.
Tell me about GST compliances.
1. If you want to sell your products & services all over India, GST is mandatory for sellers.
2. If you don’t have GST number, you can sell your products & services only in your home state.
3. For home state, GST slab thresholds are 40 lakh for manufacturers/ producers & 20 lakhs for service providers. If your turn-over exceeds these thresholds, it is mandatory to have GST registration.
4. We suggest that you should have GST registration to sell your products & services all over India.
